FAQs
When compared to new Volvo models, there are many questions that have been fielded as to models accepted into the Certified by Volvo program. We've gone so far as to provide here the most common asked of our Ken Pollock dealership professionals.
How does a Certified by Volvo model differ than simply being pre-owned?
Pre-owned Volvo models are just that. It may have been that mileage was too high to come under the requisite 80,000-mile threshold of the Certified by Volvo program. As well, a pre-owned Volvo on its own is not open to the benefits and advantages underpinning the marque's CPO collection near Scranton.
What happens when the original new-vehicle warranty expires?
Some Certified by Volvo models will be on the cusp of the original new-vehicle warranty expiring. As soon as it does however, the Volvo CPO warranty of 12-months/unlimited miles comes into effect. And with that set to mature, you may always upgrade to additional warranty coverage spanning five-years. This offering stems from the marque's confidence in models certified pre-owned.
Is there any deductible charged when under warranty?
Should an issue with a part or system fall under warranty coverage, there is no charge or deductible assessed. This serves to ensure a seamless repair process without worry associated, and a quick return to the roads in Luzerne County.
